Craig Wynne is the managing director of the Academy of Modern Music. He is a native of Dublin, although his father was from Kildare and his mother from Tipperary. He attended the High School in Rathgar and subsequently attained a BA (Hons) degree in Psychology.
However, Craig’s real passion is music. Initially he worked for a number of independent record shops. He then opened his own school of music which he has successfully run for the last fifteen years.
He has now created a new syllabus for music students called “Sounds Great” and you can find out more elsewhere on this site.
When not working, Craig enjoys soccer and rugby. He enjoys travel and spending time with his four step-children. He even helps out in the kitchen and is famous for his mushroom and cheese omelettes!
It goes without saying that he also enjoys music, particularly playing the guitar and piano.
